Random Thoughts of an Untamed Mind

I want to share with you all the beauty I see in the everyday world. I will upload photographs that I have taken in hopes of giving you joy, awe, and perhaps even reflection. But above all, I want the photographs to be that which I feel is beautiful.

spiced rum

spiced rum and all things inbetween. Standing curtains I am left to be seen by crossed hairs by a man in a trigger fit.

Laugh like a fish! For I swam to the moon with bloodshed on my back... Do you know where I can find the vision of mosis?

Who lives here? Random thoughts of an untamed mind. Do you hear what I am hearing? "No one answers the phone any more..." says Ronald in a melloncollie voice.

Sand on my finger-tips. Running through my mind, the crystals fall to the beach below. They belong to the sea I hear whispered to me. I too shall sleep.

Walk, Don't Walk

Lastnight when I went to Canadian Tire to buy the rope, I saw something which demonstrated the human need to "fit in" and to not stand out. On the return journey, George and I came to a traffic-light that was red, and so we waited the near half second before it went green... but the walk indicator was still in the dont walk position.

I walked all the same, and so did many others... I spoted a woman on the other side of the street who had paused for a few seconds, waiting for the light to say that it was safe to go... but, during her pause, she looked to her left, right and ahead of her; noticing that all others were going. A look of discomfort came across her face, and hesitating, she began to walk across the street before the 'walk' sign had been flashed.

She comprimised herself so as to not stand out. I'm sure that she quickly forgot that she had, but I will not.

Traffic in the city...

Traffic in this city is forever going. There seems to be no end in sight. So many people moving from one place to another. A daily ritualistic migration.

The sound of traffic is something new to me. I miss the quietness of a small town.

Look Down Fair Moon

Look Down Fair Moon

Look down fair moon and bathe this scene, Pour softly down night's nimbus floods on faces ghastly, swollen, purple,
On the dead on thier backs with arms toss'd wide,
Pour down your unstinted nimbus sacred moon.

-Walt Whitman (1865)

Foggy nights

Don't ask the weapons guard to boil your tea. Do you remember me. I fell asleep on your couch. You moved me to the west yard, and we swayed in the swing with stars above. You passed me a bottle, and I drank down the bubbles. Don't move. I see twice as much now. pssst. pass that over.

Asleep at the wheel

I let them sit there in the ground. Imagine the possibilities had I not. ;)

Vote 2006

If any Americans stumble across this page and read this message; please take concern in this election on the 7th November, and vote democrat. Things have really gotten out of hand over there, and a message does need to be sent. Your freedom depends on it... As does the rest of the rest of the world's.

Do not stay the course! Put forth a "Republican Exit Strategy."

Stroy

"One day on halloween some kids dressed up. Some kids dressed up as a ghost, a skeleton, a goblin and a vampeir."

- Found on a piece of paper this morning while I was walking my dog. On the paper itself there is a skeleton drawn, and beside it was a picture of a women and her child in a church, the mother holding up her child as she sat; both facing something in the distance, out of the field of view of the camera.

"Freedom is the freedom to say: 2 + 2 = 4." -Winston, 1984

Have I ever laughed at the sorrowful brow? A ping of pain, and I step outside of this building. Rain now. Falling like a mist rolled hill. I see them fall from the Heaven's down to Earth. There I stand, mouth gaping wide, neck stoved way back, and my eyes, squinting at the sun. I see the drop which lands in my mouth; that causes me to close it. Mmmm. Running down my spine. Cool warth glows like never before. "Ground Control to Major Tom." Bobbing in a swaying groove, you knew that there would be more. I tap ginger. Cranberry. Lemon and Honey. Bottoms up, the brew is hot.
