Sam the cat

June 18, 2005 Ken Hoorly (AP) Sam, a cat from the southern part of the world was on a journey this past week. His adventures included the strip mines of Calcutta, and the taming of 'Shrews' in Kentucky. It was his goal to be the first cat in the world to tour all that there was to see in this great planet of ours while maintaining a maximum budget of $250.

Sam came from a broken home in the poor part of town. Through the guidance of his highschool counselor and the support of his parents Sam was able to claw his way out of his economic hole and send himself to University to attain multiple social type degrees.

Sam credits his sucess to the growing support whcih people have offered him over the years. His message to all those in hard positions is to never give up and to contine working towards goals.
